Message from Scott!
Delighted to have started up my coaching academy! I have been involved with coaching for a while now whilst still playing and I absolutely love it, I have a real desire and hunger to develop young players and help give them the best chance in football.
I never had any coaching or guidance growing up from a professional within the game who actually played football at a high level and had that on-field knowledge as football academy's wasn't a thing back then so I think it's such a good thing for young players to have access to now.
Football has been my life and I am really excited to now be able to pass on all my knowledge and experiences to kids growing up in the game and will do that to the best I possibly can.
It was my dream to become a professional footballer and to have achieved my dream makes me really proud and to play for Hearts at the age of 16 was something that I only ever dreamed of but it shows you... dreams do come true... with hard work and dedication!

My Aim
My aim is to develop young footballers growing up in the game to the very best of my ability, give my all to coaching and pass on all of my football knowledge and experiences to any young footballer growing up in the game.
I believe that kids should be coached technically and tactically from a young age so that they understand their positions and roles within a game when it comes to a match day.
I have been coached by some of the highest level managers in Scotland for club/country which has helped me learn how to play a number of positions and I have been used in every position across the midfield and forward areas so I know how important it is to be coached to understand the game from a young age. I want kids to leave my sessions having really enjoyed their session but to have been coached and actually have learnt something that they can then take away from our session to their own teams training and then into their games.
